Privacy Policy
Welcome to the privacy policy of Vibz.
We appreciate that you trust us with your information and we strive to always honor your trust. This starts with making sure you understand what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding that information. This policy describes our privacy practices in plain language, keeping legalese and jargon to a minimum.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of 09/04/2021.
EFFECTIVE DATE: 09.04.2021
Who We Are
The address of our website is: https://vibz-app.com. Our App is named Vibz. You can reach us at the email address info@vibz-app.com.
Where This Privacy Policy Applies
This Privacy Policy applies to Vibz websites, apps, events and other services. For simplicity, we refer to everything above as our „Services“ in this Privacy Policy.
Some Services may require their own specific privacy policies. If a specific Service has its own privacy policy, that specific privacy policy – and not this one – will apply.
Data We Collect
It goes without saying that we can not provide our services without knowing some data about you, such as basic profile data. We also collect data that is generated while you are using our Services, such as access logs, as well as data from third parties, such as when you access our Services through social media. You can find more information about this below.
Data You Provide To Us
When using our Services, you choose to provide us with certain data. This includes:
- When you create an account, you provide at least your login details and some basic details necessary for the performance of the relevant service, such as your gender and date of birth.
- When you create your profile, you can provide additional data, such as information about your personality, but also photos. To add certain content, such as photos, you can allow us access to your camera and photo gallery. Some of the information you voluntarily provide may be considered „special“ or „sensitive“ in some jurisdictions, such as information about your race or ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs. By choosing to provide this information, you consent to our processing of this data.
- When you sign up for a paid service or buy something directly from us (rather than through a platform like iOS or Android), you provide us or our payment service provider with information such as your debit or credit card number or other financial information.
- When you participate in surveys or audiences, you tell us what you think about our products and services, respond to our questions, and provide testimonials.
- If you choose to participate in our promotions, events or competitions, we collect the information you use to register or participate.
- If you contact our customer service, we collect the data you provide to us during the interaction. Sometimes we monitor or record these interactions. This is for training purposes and to ensure quality services.
- If you ask us to communicate with other people or otherwise process other people’s data (for example, if you ask us to send an e-mail to one of your friends on your behalf), we collect the data that you provide to us about other people in order to fulfill your request.
- Of course, as part of our services, we also process the chats you have with other people and the content you post.
Information We Receive From Others
In addition to the information you provide directly to us, we also receive information about you from other people.
That includes the following:
- Other users may provide us with information about you while using our Services. For example, we may collect information about you from other users when they contact us about you.
- Social Media: You may be able to use your social media credentials (such as Facebook) to create and log into your Vibz account. This eliminates the need to remember additional usernames and passwords and allows you to share some of your social media account information with us.
- Other partners: We may also receive information about you from our partners, for example when Vibz ads are published on partner websites and platforms (in which case the partner may share information about the success of the campaign with us).
Information Collected When You Use Our Services
When you use our Services, we collect information about what features you used, how you used them, and what devices you use to access our Services. See below for more details on this:

- Hardware and software information such as IP address, device ID and device type, device-specific settings and app settings and properties, application crash, advertising IDs (such as Google’s AAID and Apple’s IDFA. In both cases, it is These are randomly generated numbers that you can reset in your device settings), browser type, version and language, operating system, time zones and identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that uniquely identify your device or browser (e.g. IMEI/UDID and MAC address);

The determination of your geolocation may take place in the background, even when you are not using the Services, if the permission you have given us expressly permits such collection. If you do not authorize us to determine your geolocation, we will not do so. Likewise, if you allow us, we may collect your photos and videos (for example, if you choose to post a photo, video, or stream on the Services).
Cookies and Similar Data Collection Technologies
We use cookies and similar data collection technologies (e.g. web beacons, pixels) to recognize you and/or your device(s) and may allow third parties to do the same. For example, we use these technologies to verify you and remember your preferences and settings, to analyze website traffic and trends, to run advertising campaigns and measure their effectiveness, and to enable you to use social features.
Some web browsers (including Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome) have a „Do Not Track“ („DNT“) feature that lets a website know when a user does not want his/her online activity to be tracked. If a website that responds to a DNT signal receives a DNT signal, the browser can prevent that website from collecting certain data about the browser user. Not all browsers have a DNT option and DNT signals are not yet uniform. For this reason, many companies, including Vibz, do not currently respond to DNT signals.

If required by law
We may disclose your information when reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with legal process, such as a court order, subpoena or search warrant, government/legal investigation, or other legal requirement; (ii) assist in the prevention or detection of crime (in each case, subject to applicable law); or (iii) protect the safety of any person.

We may ask for your consent to pass on your data to third parties. In such a case, we will make it clear why we want to share the data.
In the circumstances described above, we may collect, use and share non-personal information (information that does not identify you as an individual, such as device data, general demographic data, general behavioral data, geolocation in anonymized form), as well as hashed personal information in a form that cannot be read by humans. We may also share this information with third parties (including, but not limited to, advertisers) to provide targeted advertising on our Services and on third party websites or applications and to develop, serve, analyze and report on advertisements you see. We may combine this information with other non-personal information or personal data in encrypted, non-human readable form collected from other sources.
Transnational data transfer
Data sharing sometimes involves data transfers across borders, such as to the United States and other jurisdictions. For example, if a service allows users to be located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), their personal data will be transferred to countries outside the EEA. We use standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other appropriate safeguards to allow data transfers from the EEA to other countries. Standard Contractual Clauses are binding commitments to protect the privacy and security of your information between companies that transfer personal information.
Your Rights
We want you to be in control of your data, so we provide you with the following tools:
- Access or Update tools in the services. We provide tools and settings to help you access, correct, or delete information you have provided to us that is directly related to your account within the relevant service.
- Device permissions. Mobile platforms have authorization systems for specific types of device data and notifications, such as phone gallery and location services or push notifications. You can change your settings on your device to either consent or opt-out of the collection of related information or the display of related notifications. Of course, if you do this, certain services may no longer be fully functional.
- Uninstall. You can stop all information collection by an app by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall process for your device. Remember that uninstalling an app does NOT close your account. To close your account, please use the corresponding functionality on the service.

We want you to be aware of your privacy rights. Here are some key aspects to remember:
- Verification of your data. Please note that we may reject requests for certain reasons, such as when the request violates the law or violates another user’s trade secrets, property rights, or privacy. If you wish to receive information related to another user, such as a copy of messages you have received from him or her, the other user must contact our Privacy Officer and provide his/her written consent before we can release that information.
In addition, we may not be able to comply with certain requests to object to the processing of personal data, in particular if this would mean that we would no longer be able to provide our services to you. For example, we cannot provide you with any Services if we do not know your date of birth.
In some countries, including the European Union, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority if you have concerns about our processing of your personal information. The data protection authority to which you may lodge a complaint may be that of your usual place of residence, your place of work or a jurisdiction
